CET-Rio's traffic operation alters circulation around São Januário for Vasco's game.
Published on 13/04/2026 - 20:40 | Updated
CET-Rio will carry out a traffic operation this Tuesday (April 14th) for the match between Vasco and Audax Italiano (CHI), at 9 pm, in São Januário, for the Copa Sudamericana. Traffic closures will begin at 2 pm. The operation will involve traffic agents and support staff, operational vehicles and motorcycles, all dedicated to traffic guidance. The operation will also include seven variable message signs informing about closure times and alternative routes.
The operation aims to promote road safety, traffic flow, and the maintenance of clear intersections, as well as to guide drivers, pedestrians, and fans.
CET-Rio technicians at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) will monitor all traffic movement through cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light schedule to ensure good conditions.
