City Hall imposes new closures on works at Transbrasil

The City of Rio, through CET-Rio, informs about the new closures that will occur to make the Transbrasil works viable. The extended interventions and the old ones, which are still in progress, will also be presented.

The operations will involve the participation of traffic operators, including CET-Rio agents, the Municipal Guard and outsourced workers, who will work to maintain fluidity, guide drivers and set up roadblocks during the interventions. In addition, specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers.

NEW PROHIBITIONS WITH GREATER ROAD IMPACT OR CONTINUOUS

 

1.    HEIGHT OF NAIR STREET, OLARIA	Home: 02/10 (Friday)
	Expected completion: 05/10

Between 22pm on Friday (02/10) and 4am on Monday (05/10) the drainage network will be carried out on Av. Brasil, near Olaria. To make the procedures viable, it will be necessary:

• Close 1 lane (right side) of Av. Brasil, Central lane, towards the Center, between Nair and Sargento Aquino streets;
• Close 2 lanes (left side) of Av. Brasil, Side lane, towards the Center, between Nair and Sargento Aquino streets.

DEVIATIONS: vehicles will be diverted on the lane itself, in the narrow section.

 

2.    NEAR THE DAISY CLOVER	Home: 03/10 (Saturday)
	Expected completion: 17/10

Starting at 8 am on Saturday (03/10) the drainage network will be installed on Av. Brasil, near Vigário Geral. To make the procedure possible, it will be necessary to close 1 lane (right side) of Av. Brasil, side lane, towards Deodoro, between Rua Mauro and Av. Meriti. Access to the neighborhood's internal roads will remain open.

DEVIATIONS: vehicles will be diverted on the lane itself, in the narrow section.

 

3.    NEAR PASSARELA 13, RAMOS	Home: 03/10 (Saturday)
	Expected completion: 17/10

Starting at 8 am on Saturday (03/10) the drainage network will be implemented on Av. Brasil, near Ramos. To make the procedure viable, it will be necessary to close 1 lane (right side) of Av. Brasil, side lane, towards Deodoro, near walkway 13.

DETOUR: vehicles will be diverted on the lane itself, in the narrow section.

4.    AV. RODRIGUES ALVES, AT THE BUS STATION	Home: 03/10 (Saturday)
	Finished: 04/10

Between 22pm on Saturday (03/10) and 4am on Sunday (04/10) the operation to launch pre-slabs for the future connecting loop between Gasômetro and Av. Rodrigues Alves will continue. To make the procedure viable, it will be necessary to close Av. Rodrigues Alves, between Av. Francisco Bicalho and Via B4.

DEVIATIONS

Vehicles coming from Av. Brasil heading to Via B4/Santo Cristo

They will be diverted via Av. Francisco Bicalho, which will operate in one direction, towards the bus station during the closure period.

Vehicles coming from Av. Francisco Bicalho heading to Via B4/Santo Cristo

They will be diverted to the lane next to the bus station boarding area to access Via B4.

 

5.    BETWEEN WALKWAYS 4 AND 9	Home: 03/10 (Saturday)

Starting Saturday (03/10), from 23:4 p.m. to 4:9 a.m. the following day, Av. Brasil will be closed for topographic services. To make the procedure possible, it will be necessary to close Av. Brasil, Central lane, towards Deodoro, between Walkways XNUMX and XNUMX.

DETOUR: vehicles will be diverted to the side lane at Walkway 4 and will be able to return to the central lane at Walkway 14.

 

6.    BETWEEN THE MISSÕES INTERCOURSE AND SÁ FREIRE STREET	Home: 03/10 (Saturday)
	Expected completion: 17/10

Starting Saturday (03/10), from 23:4 p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. the following day, Av. Brasil will be closed for topographic services. To make the procedure possible, it will be necessary to close Av. Brasil, Central lane, towards the Center, between Trevo das Missões and Rua Sá Freire.

DETOUR: vehicles will be diverted to the side lane at Trevo das Missões and will be able to return to the central lane at Rua Sá Freire.

 

7.    BETWEEN FOOTBALL 6 AND MISSÕES INTERCOURSE	Home: 05/10 (Second)

Starting Monday (05/10), from 23:4 p.m. to 6:XNUMX a.m. the following day, Av. Brasil will be closed for topographic services. To make the procedure possible, it will be necessary to close Av. Brasil, Central lane, towards Deodoro, between Passarelas XNUMX and Trevo das Missões.

DETOUR: vehicles will be diverted to the side lane at Passarela 6 and will be able to return to the central lane after Trevo das Missões.

 

8.    WALKWAY HEIGHT 10	Home: 07/10 (Fourth)
	Finished: 08/10

Between 22pm on Wednesday (07/10) and 4am on Thursday (08/10), a portion of the temporary walkway located on Av. Brasil, at the height of Walkway 10, will be removed. To make the operation possible, it will be necessary:

• From 22:4 to XNUMX:XNUMX: close Av. Brasil, Central lane, towards the Center, between Walkways 15 and 10.
• From 1h to 3h: for 10 minutes, traffic on Av. Brasil, Central lane, towards Deodoro, between Walkways 9 and 14, will be completely interrupted.
• 

DEVIATIONS: vehicles will be diverted to the side lane at Walkway 15 and will be able to return to the central lane after Walkway 10.

 

9.    BETWEEN WALKWAYS 27 AND 28, COELHO NETO	Home: 08/10 (Fifth)

Between 22pm on Thursday (08/10) and 5am on Friday (09/10) the beam lifting operation will take place for the road widening of Av. Brasil, in Coelho Neto. To make the procedure viable, it will be necessary:

• From 22:5 to XNUMX:XNUMX: close 1 lane (left side) of Av. Pastor Martin Luther King Júnior, towards Colégio, between Rua Steinmann and Av. Brasil;
• From 23:4 to XNUMX:XNUMX: close 2 lanes (right side) of Av. Brasil, towards Deodoro, between Passarela 27 and Rua Ouseley;
• From 23:1 to XNUMX:XNUMX: for 10 minutes, traffic on Av. Brasil, towards Deodoro, at Passarela 27, will be completely interrupted.

 

MAIN PROHIBITIONS

 

To ensure operational safety during the lifting of the beam, Av. Pastor Martin L. King Júnior, towards Colégio, will be completely closed for 10 minutes.

• Between 22pm on Saturday (03/10) and 5am on Sunday (04/10): partial closure of the turn signal from the side lane to the central lane located on Av. Brasil, towards Rodoviária, at the height of Rua Sá Freire. The detour will be carried out at the turn signal itself, in the narrow section.

2.    Av. Brasil, at the height of Rua Mauro	Home: 05/10 (Second)
	Expected completion: 09/10

• Starting Monday (05/10), from 23pm to 4am the following day:Closure of the turn signal from the Central lane to the Side lane, located on Av. Brasil, towards Deodoro, between Isidro Rocha and Mauro streets. Vehicles coming from the central lane will be able to access the side lane at the next turn signal, located 400 meters ahead.

3.    Av. Brasil, at the height of Guadalupe Street	Home: 07/10 (Fourth)
	Expected completion: 16/10

• Starting Wednesday (07/10), from 23pm to 4am the following day: Closure of the turn signal from the Side lane to the Central lane, located on Av. Brasil, towards Centro, between Guadalupe and Japuanga streets. Vehicles coming from the central lane will be able to access the side lane at the next turn signal, located 700 meters ahead.

INTERDICTION EXTENDED

1.    AV. BRASIL, near INTO	Home: 05/09
	Expected completion: 03/10 → 10/12

Closure of 1 lane (right side) of Av. Brasil, side lane next to INTO (towards Túnel Marcello Alencar) and the final section of the Rio-Niterói Bridge downhill loop to enable the second stage of geometric adjustment works at the height of INTO. DEVIATIONS: Vehicles coming from the side lane of Av. Brasil will be diverted to the left lane, in the narrow section. Vehicles coming from the Rio-Niterói Bridge, in the left lane, will be diverted to the side lane of Av. Brasil between the closed sections.
