  • The Maracanã region will have a traffic plan in place for the Flamengo vs. Cruzeiro match at the Maracanã stadium.

CET-Rio has set up a traffic plan for the game between Flamengo and Cruzeiro, this Wednesday (March 11th), at 9:30 pm, at Maracanã, for the Brazilian Championship. Traffic restrictions in the area will begin at 7:30 pm and continue until 1 am on Thursday (March 12th). In addition to areas where parking is prohibited, other roads will also be restricted starting at 10 am.

The traffic plan will involve CET-Rio agents and support staff, operational vehicles, and motorcycles dedicated to guiding drivers and pedestrians. The operation will also include 13 variable message signs providing information on closure times and alternative routes.

CET-Rio technicians at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) will monitor all traffic movement through cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light schedule to ensure good road conditions.
