The Maracanã region will have a special traffic scheme for the Fluminense x Bolivar game, Tuesday (May 19).

CET-Rio's operation begins with road closures around the stadium starting at 17 PM. Image: CET-Rio The Rio de Janeiro Traffic Engineering Company (CET-Rio) will implement a special traffic operation this Tuesday (May 19th), from 5 PM to 11 PM, for the match between Fluminense and Bolivar (BOL) for the Conmebol Libertadores. The match will be held at 7 PM at the Maracanã Stadium. In addition to existing restrictions, other roads will have parking restrictions starting at 10 AM.
The traffic plan will involve CET-Rio agents and traffic support personnel, operational vehicles, and motorcycles, who will assist drivers. The operation will also include 13 variable message signs that will provide information about closure times and alternative routes.
The operation aims to promote road safety, traffic flow, and the maintenance of clear intersections, as well as to guide pedestrians and fans.
Technicians from CET-Rio, at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR), will monitor all traffic using cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light programming in order to guarantee good road conditions.

– Mata Machado Street, between Paula Sousa Avenue and Maracanã Avenue.
