Acústico, Zuzu Angel and Rebouças Tunnels will be closed for revitalization works

CET-Rio and the Municipal Infrastructure Secretariat (SMI) inform that, this Tuesday (29/8), the Zuzu Angel and Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas tunnels will be closed, in the direction of São Conrado, from 22:30 pm to 5:30 am, for revitalization works in the galleries. The main option for detour is Avenida Niemeyer.

The Rebouças Tunnel will be closed, also for renovation works, in the direction of the Center, from 22 pm to 5 am. The galleries in the opposite direction will operate with one reversible lane (the one on the left), in the direction of the Center, and two traffic lanes in the direction of Lagoa.

Traffic conditions will be monitored for potential impacts. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve fluidity on the diversion route and on the region's main corridors.
