City tunnels will be closed for construction and maintenance this Wednesday

The Rafael Mascarenhas Acoustic Tunnel will be closed in the direction of Gávea for maintenance services - Rio City Hall CET-Rio informs that the Santa Bárbara Tunnel will be closed this Wednesday (15/10), in the direction of Santo Cristo, from 23 pm to 4:30 am, for structural repairs carried out by the Conservation Department. The tunnel in the direction of Laranjeiras will operate normally.
The Rebouças Tunnel tunnels will be closed in the Lagoa direction from 23:50 PM to 5:XNUMX AM for maintenance work. The tunnels in the opposite direction will operate with one reversible lane, on the left, heading towards the South Zone. The other two lanes will be open towards the Center.
The Zuzu Angel and Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas tunnels will be closed in the Gávea direction from 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM for tunnel maintenance. The main alternative route is Avenida Niemeyer.
At all scheduled closures, specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers, and CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and, if necessary, take action. In addition, traffic light times will be adjusted to ensure fluidity on detour routes and on the main corridors in the regions.
The program may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or operational issues in the city.
