The Vice-President of the Republic José Alencar Tunnel will be closed this Thursday (January 5nd), in the direction of Barra da Tijuca, from 11 PM to 4 AM on Friday (January 23rd), for maintenance. Vehicles heading towards Barra da Tijuca will be diverted via Serra da Grota Funda (Avenida Artur Xexéo). BRT buses heading to Barra should use the opposite tunnel lane. Buses that normally use the lane in the direction of Santa Cruz will continue on the common lane for all vehicles.

The Rebouças Tunnel will be closed from 10 PM this Thursday (March 5th) to 5 AM on Friday (March 6th), in the direction of Lagoa, for maintenance. During the closure, vehicle traffic will follow a reversible lane to the left in the direction of the city center, operating towards the South Zone. The other two lanes will operate in the direction of the city center.

The lower deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras will be closed in the direction of São Conrado, from 11 pm this Thursday (March 5th) to 4:30 am on Friday (March 6th), for maintenance. The Barra da Tijuca-São Conrado connection will be made via the upper deck.

There will be specific signage to guide and alert drivers. CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and intervene if necessary. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve traffic flow on the detour route and main corridors in the affected areas.
