The Vice-President José Alencar Tunnel will be closed this Tuesday (July 1), in the direction of Santa Cruz, from 7 pm to 23 am, for maintenance and cleaning services. Vehicles in the closed direction will be diverted via Serra da Grota Funda (Avenida Artur Xexéo). BRT buses heading towards Santa Cruz will travel along the opposite gallery lane. Buses originally traveling along the lane, towards Barra da Tijuca, will continue on the lane common to all vehicles.

The Rebouças Tunnel will be closed towards the city center from 23:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. for maintenance work. The tunnels in the opposite direction will have one reversible lane, on the left towards the city center. The other two lanes will be in the direction of Lagoa.

The Presidente Itamar Franco Overpass and the Luiz Jacques de Moraes and Paulo César Marcellino Figueiredo tunnels will be closed from 23 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for routine maintenance. The alternative for drivers will be to follow the upper deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras, which will operate in the direction of Barra da Tijuca.

At all scheduled closures, specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers, and CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and, if necessary, take action. In addition, traffic light times will be adjusted to ensure fluidity on detour routes and on the main corridors in the regions.

Programming may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or city operational issues.
