The tunnel galleries of the Rebouças Tunnel, in the direction of Lagoa, will be closed for maintenance work - Disclosure/Rio City Hall The Vice-President of the Republic José Alencar Tunnel will be closed this Friday (13/6), in the direction of Santa Cruz, from 23 pm to 4 am, for lighting renovation work. Vehicles heading towards Santa Cruz will be diverted via Serra da Grota Funda (Avenida Artur Xexéo). BRT buses bound for the closed direction will travel along the opposite gallery lane. Buses originally traveling along the lane towards Barra da Tijuca will continue on the common lane for all vehicles.
The Rebouças Tunnel galleries will be closed in the direction of the city center from 23:50 p.m. to 5:XNUMX a.m. for maintenance work. The galleries in the opposite direction will operate with a reversible lane on the left, in the direction of the city center. The other two traffic lanes will be closed in the direction of Lagoa.
Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers, and CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and take action if necessary. In addition, traffic light times will be adjusted to ensure fluidity on diversion routes and main corridors in the regions.
Programming may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or city operational issues.
