CET-Rio informs that, this Thursday and Friday (3 and 4/3), from 11:30 am to 16 pm, the Engenheiro Paulo Cezar Marcelino Figueiredo Tunnel, the Presidente Itamar Franco Elevated Highway and the Engenheiro Luiz Jacques de Moraes Tunnel, which connect the neighborhoods of São Conrado and Barra da Tijuca, will be completely closed for maintenance services on the two tunnels.
To enable the execution of services, a complete shutdown is necessary for the positioning of machines and equipment.
The alternative for drivers going from São Conrado to Barra da Tijuca will be to use the upper deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras, which will be operating in the direction of Barra da Tijuca, from 11:30 am.
Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers. Traffic conditions will be monitored for possible impacts.
This program may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or city operational issues.
