Rebouças, Acústico and Zuzu Angel Tunnels will have a change in closing time due to a game at Maracanã

CET-Rio and the Municipal Infrastructure Department (SMI) inform that, due to the match between Flamengo and Athlético-PR, on the evening of this Wednesday (5/7), at Maracanã, the closure time of the Zuzu Angel and Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas tunnels, in the direction of São Conrado, has been changed. The closure, previously scheduled to begin at 22:30 pm, has been changed to 23:50 pm, with the opening to traffic scheduled for 5:30 am.

The main option for diversion is Avenida Niemeyer, which will be operating with its routine characteristics, that is, with two-way traffic.

Rebouças Tunnel

The closing time of the Rebouças Tunnel galleries, in the direction of Lagoa, scheduled for 22 pm, has been extended to 23:50 pm, with opening scheduled for 5 am. The galleries in the opposite direction (Rio Comprido) will operate with one reversible lane (the one on the left) and two traffic lanes in the direction of Rio Comprido.

Traffic conditions will be monitored for potential impacts. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve fluidity on the diversion route and on the region's main corridors.
