The Santa Bárbara Tunnel will be closed for maintenance work - Disclosure/CET-Rio The Rebouças Tunnel will be closed this Friday (December 5th), in the direction of Lagoa, from 11:50 PM to 5:00 AM on Saturday (December 6th), for maintenance work. The tunnels in the opposite direction will operate with one reversible lane (the left lane) in the direction of Zona Sul and two traffic lanes in the direction of Centro.
The Santa Bárbara Tunnel will be closed in the Santo Cristo direction from 22 PM to 5 AM for maintenance. The tunnel in the Laranjeiras direction will operate normally.
Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers. CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and intervene if necessary. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve traffic flow on the detour route and main corridors in the affected areas.
