Rebouças, Zuzu Angel and Acústico tunnels have their closure changed due to the holiday

CET-Rio informs that, this Wednesday (6/9), the day before a holiday, the closures of the Rebouças, Zuzu Angel and Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas tunnels are suspended for revitalization works and routine maintenance services.

However, on Thursday (7/9), an Independence Day holiday, the Rebouças Tunnel will be closed in the direction of the city center, from 22 pm to 5 am. Vehicles heading in the direction of the closure must use the reversible lane that will be set up in the gallery in the opposite direction. The Zuzu Angel and Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas tunnels will be closed in the direction of São Conrado, from 23:50 pm to 5:30 am, with Avenida Niemeyer being the main detour route.

In both cases, specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers. CET-Rio operators will be monitoring traffic conditions and responding to any potential impacts.

These programs may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or operational issues in the city.
