The Santa Bárbara Tunnel will be closed for maintenance work - Disclosure/CET-Rio The Santa Bárbara Tunnel will be closed, in the Santo Cristo direction, from 10 PM this Monday (December 22nd) to 5 AM on Tuesday (December 23rd), for maintenance work. The tunnel in the Laranjeiras direction will operate normally.
The Rebouças Tunnel will be closed from 11:50 PM this Tuesday in the direction of the city center for maintenance. Reopening is scheduled for 5:00 AM this Wednesday. During the closure, traffic will follow a reversible lane to the left in the direction of Lagoa, operating towards the city center. The other two lanes will operate in the direction of the South Zone.
In all scheduled road closures, there will be specific signage to guide and alert drivers. CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and intervene if necessary. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve traffic flow on the detour route and main corridors in the affected areas.
