Zuzu Angel, Acústico and Rebouças tunnels will be closed for works to revitalize the galleries

CET-Rio and the Municipal Infrastructure Secretariat (SMI) inform that, this Wednesday (13/9), the Zuzu Angel and Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas tunnels will be closed, in the direction of São Conrado, from 22:30 pm to 5:30 am, for revitalization works in the galleries. The main option for detour is Avenida Niemeyer.

The Rebouças Tunnel will be closed, towards the Center, from 22 pm to 5 am, also for revitalization works. The galleries in the opposite direction will operate with one reversible lane (the one on the left), towards the Center, and two traffic lanes towards Lagoa.

Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers. CET-Rio operators will be monitoring traffic conditions and responding to any potential impacts. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve fluidity on the detour route and on the main corridors in the region. This schedule may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or operational issues in the city.
