Zuzu Angel and Acústico tunnels, towards Gávea, will be closed for routine maintenance

The Rafael Mascarenhas Acoustic Tunnel will be closed in the direction of Gávea for maintenance services - Rio City Hall CET-Rio informs that, this Monday (7/3), from 23:50 pm to 4:30 am, the Zuzu Angel tunnel and the Rafael Mascarenhas Acústico tunnel, both in the direction of Gávea, will be completely closed for routine maintenance services.
The main diversion route is Avenida Niemeyer, which will operate in both directions.
Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers, and traffic conditions will be monitored for potential impacts. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve fluidity on the diversion route and on the region's main corridors.
This program may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or operational issues in the city.
