Zuzu Angel and Acústico tunnels, towards São Conrado, will be closed for routine maintenance

The Zuzu Angel Tunnel will be closed for maintenance work - Archive/Rio City Hall CET-Rio informs that, this Monday (4/4), the Zuzu Angel tunnel and the Rafael Mascarenhas Acoustic tunnel, both in the direction of São Conrado, will be completely closed, from 23:50 pm to 4:30 am, for routine maintenance services. The main diversion route is Avenida Niemeyer, which will be operating with two-way traffic.
Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers, and traffic conditions will be monitored for potential impacts. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve fluidity on the diversion route and on the region's main corridors.
This program may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or operational issues in the city.
