The Rafael Mascarenhas Acoustic Tunnel will be closed in the direction of Gávea for maintenance services - Rio City Hall Update at 16:38 pm: this program was canceled due to emergency work on Avenida Niemeyer
CET-Rio informs that, this Monday (9/5), the Zuzu Angel and Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas tunnels will be completely closed, in the direction of Gávea, from 23:50 pm to 4:30 am, for routine maintenance services.
The main diversion route is Avenida Niemeyer, which will operate in both directions.
Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers, and traffic conditions will be monitored for potential impacts. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve fluidity on the diversion route and on the region's main corridors.
This program may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or operational issues in the city.
