Zuzu Angel and Rafael Mascarenhas tunnels will have total closures from Sunday (29/08) for lighting services

CET-Rio informs that from Sunday (29/08) until September 30, with the exception of Fridays and Saturdays, the Zuzu Angel Tunnel, towards São Conrado, will be completely closed, from 23 pm to 4:30 am, for public lighting revitalization services by Rioluz, through the Smart Luz consortium.
For the procedure it will be necessary to close the Rafael Mascarenhas Acoustic Tunnel, in the direction of São Conrado.
The main detour is via Avenida Niemeyer, which will have a stop and go operation at number 226.
Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers. Traffic conditions will be monitored and signal timings will be adjusted to improve fluidity on the diversion route and on the region's main corridors.
