Vice-President José Alencar Tunnel to be closed for maintenance - Archive/Rio City Hall CET-Rio informs that, this Thursday (19/5), the Vice-Presidente José Alencar Tunnel will be closed, in the direction of Recreio, from 23 pm to 4 am. The closure aims to enable maintenance services.
Vehicles traveling along Avenida D. João VI heading to Barra must follow Avenida das Américas, Serra da Grota Funda, Avenida das Américas, Rua dos Servidores, access ramp to Avenida das Américas, heading towards Barra.
CET-Rio teams will work on both the roadblocks and the diversion route, guiding road users.
This program may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or city operational issues.
