Vice-President José Alencar Tunnel to be closed for maintenance - Archive/Rio City Hall CET-Rio informs that, this Thursday (5/5), the Vice-Presidente José Alencar Tunnel will be closed, in the direction of Recreio, from 23 pm to 4 am, to allow maintenance services.
Vehicles traveling along D. João VI Avenue heading to Barra da Tijuca must follow Americas Avenue, Serra da Grota Funda, Americas Avenue, Servers Street, access ramp to Americas Avenue, heading towards Barra.
CET-Rio teams will work on both the roadblocks and the diversion route, guiding road users.
This program may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or city operational issues.
