Vice-President José Alencar Tunnel to be closed for maintenance - Archive/Rio City Hall CET-Rio informs that, this Tuesday (10/5), the Vice-Presidente José Alencar Tunnel will be closed, in the direction of Santa Cruz, from 23 pm to 4 am. The closure is intended to enable maintenance services.
Vehicles traveling on Avenida das Américas heading to Santa Cruz must follow Serra da Grota Funda, Estrada Roberto Burle Marx, return ramp towards Santa Cruz, Avenida Dom João VI, towards Santa Cruz.
CET-Rio teams will work on both the roadblocks and the diversion route, guiding road users.
This program may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or city operational issues.
