The Marcello Alencar Tunnel will be closed for maintenance work - Marcos de Paula/City of Rio The City Hall informs that, this Monday (2/5), from 23 pm to 5 am the following day, the Marcello Alencar Tunnel, mainland gallery, towards the South Zone, will be closed for maintenance services. Due to this, the routine maintenance of the sea gallery, towards the Bus Station, which would take place this Monday, has been canceled.
To make an alternative route between the Center and the South Zone of the city viable, the closure for routine maintenance of the Santa Bárbara Tunnel, towards Laranjeiras, which was scheduled for this Monday, was suspended.
