Traffic changes will occur on downtown streets for the Pedalar III Cycling Circuit on Sunday (November 9th).
Published on 08/11/2025 - 11:06 | UpdatedCET-Rio will implement a special traffic operation on Sunday (November 9th) for the Cycling Circuit – Pedalar III, in the Porto Maravilha region.
Due to the sporting event, there will be traffic restrictions from 4 am to 9 am. Parking will be prohibited from 10 pm on Saturday (November 8th) until 11 am on Sunday (November 9th).
The operation will involve agents from CET-Rio (Rio de Janeiro's traffic management company), the Municipal Guard, and traffic support personnel, who will work to maintain traffic flow, manage intersections, guide pedestrians, and implement necessary road closures throughout the event.
CET-Rio technicians working at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) will monitor traffic conditions via cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light programming, ensuring better traffic flow and road safety.
