Rebouças Tunnel
The Rebouças Tunnel will be closed, in the direction of the city center, from 10 PM this Monday (August 10th) to 5 AM on Tuesday (August 11th), for gallery revitalization work. The galleries in the opposite direction will operate with one reversible lane (the left lane) towards the city center and two traffic lanes towards Lagoa.
Acoustic Tunnels and Zuzu Angel
The Zuzu Angel and Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas tunnels will be closed, in the direction of Gávea, from 11:30 pm this Monday (August 10th) to 5 am and Tuesday (August 11th), for maintenance work. The main alternative route is Avenida Niemeyer, which will operate normally, with two-way traffic.
Elevation of the Flags
The lower deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras will be closed in the direction of São Conrado, from 11 PM this Monday (August 10th) to 4:30 AM on Tuesday (August 11th) for revitalization work. The Barra – São Conrado connection will be made via the upper deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras, which will be operating in the direction of São Conrado. CET-Rio agents will be on site to guide drivers.
Santa Barbara Tunnel
The Santa Bárbara Tunnel will be closed, in the Laranjeiras direction, from 11:30 PM this Monday (August 10th) to 4:30 AM on Tuesday (August 11th), for cleaning and maintenance services. The tunnel in the Santo Cristo direction will operate normally.
Guidance for drivers
Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers. CET-Rio operators will be monitoring traffic conditions and will intervene if necessary. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve traffic flow on the detour route and main corridors in the area. This schedule may be suspended due to weather conditions or operational issues in the city.
