Guards arrest man for stealing electrical cables in São Cristóvão.
A team from the Motorcycle Guard Group (GGM) caught a man red-handed stealing electrical cables from a traffic light on Avenida Pedro II, near number 380, in São Cristóvão, in the North Zone of Rio, during the early hours of this Sunday, the 3rd.
According to the officers, the suspect was on top of the pole supporting the traffic signal and was using a knife to cut the wiring. Four meters of cable were found with him. The man was arrested and taken to the 17th Police Station (São Cristóvão), where the case was registered. According to the teams, he already has four prior arrests for crimes of the same nature.
