Procon Carioca in the Neighborhoods will serve consumers in Padre Miguel

The Procon Carioca team will guide consumers in Padre Miguel - Archive/City of Rio Procon Carioca, an agency linked to the Municipal Department of Citizenship, will take the itinerant service 'Procon nos Bairros' to the West Zone, this Thursday (26/5). The team will be available to serve consumers, at Estrada da Água Branca 4.437, in Padre Miguel, from 10 am to 16 pm.
Consumers interested in filing complaints or clarifying doubts about their rights must bring copies of their personal documents, in addition to proof of purchase of the product or service contracted, such as bills and invoices.
– Taking our team to all neighborhoods means expanding citizen service beyond our traditional service channels, such as websites and social media, and speeding up the resolution of their demands – says Igor Costa, the agency’s executive director.
Teams from the Leão XII Foundation and Light will also be present at the site. During the service, complaints will be forwarded directly to the companies, which will have a period of ten days to resolve the issues.
– Ensuring that consumer rights are respected is the main objective of Procon Carioca’s actions. We want to reach every corner of the city to speed up resolutions – says Renato Moura, Secretary of Citizenship.
