The Municipal Department of Citizenship will be taking the Itinerant Citizenship program to Padre Miguel this Friday (12/08). The team will be at the Dom Jaime Housing Complex, on Rua Bom Sossego, corner of Rua Porto das Pedras, with several services available to citizens, from 10 am to 14 pm.

Among the services provided, the Leão XII Foundation will enable requests for duplicate documents, such as birth, marriage and death certificates. Legal advice will also be provided and a Light team will be on hand to assist consumers.

The Procon Carioca team will also be present at the event. Consumers interested in filing complaints about any company or clarifying doubts about their rights should bring copies of their personal documents, as well as proof of purchase of the product or service contracted, such as bills and invoices.

– The itinerant service aims to meet consumer demands in the most comprehensive way and speed up the resolution of consumer problems – says Igor Costa, executive director of Procon Carioca.

Complaints will be forwarded directly to the companies, which will have ten days to resolve the issues.

– The objective of actions of this nature is to expand citizens’ access to services provided by the City Hall as much as possible – informs the municipal secretary of Citizenship, Renato Moura.

Service in the Itinerant Citizenship program is subject to the distribution of passwords.
