The program includes pagode music with a live broadcast of the Brazil game - Press Release

The City of Arts has a diverse program this weekend with attractions for all tastes and ages. On Saturday (June 13th), singer Yan calls on fans to experience the World Cup to the sound of pagode at the FutYANdo event. On Sunday (June 14th), the project "100 Books, without Screens" promotes a free activity for children with a reading circle and book exchange. Also part of Sunday's attractions are the free event "Viento Yoga for all – Well-being and health through the practice of yoga" and the immersive musical experience "Show in the Dark".
Inspired by the weekly gatherings that singer Yan hosts with friends after football matches, FutYANdo authentically translates the connection between pagode music, football, and Rio de Janeiro culture. With confirmed events on June 13th, 19th, and 24th at Cidade das Artes, the event combines broadcasts of Brazil's World Cup matches with plenty of samba, barbecue, and a relaxed atmosphere.
With the goal of encouraging reading and keeping children and young people away from excessive screen time, the "100 Books, No Screens" project organizes a reading and book exchange circle at the Ziraldo Municipal Library.
The free event “Viento Yoga for Everyone – Well-being and health through the practice of yoga” takes place in the garden of Cidade das Artes with a class taught by teacher Gabriela Grasel. The activity is conducted in a tranquil and welcoming environment, with relaxing music to promote immersion in the practice. All participants, from 12 years old and up, are welcome, regardless of their level of flexibility or experience with yoga.
"Show in the Dark" is an artistic experience that unites music, inclusion, and cultural exchange. The event brings together Brazilian singer and multi-artist Sara Bentes and the Swedish band Synliga, formed by visually impaired musicians and internationally recognized for their sensory performances. The aim of "Show in the Dark" is to transform the audience's relationship with music through a sensory experience. Without lighting, the audience is invited to expand their sound perception and sharpen their other senses. After the show, the audience can participate in a Q&A session with the artists about the experience and the creative process of the performance.
