The Municipal Secretariat of Youth of Rio de Janeiro (JUVRio) promoted, on Monday (March 9th), at the Casa da Juventude Centro, the event “Women Who Inspire”, a special program in celebration of International Women's Day last Sunday, March 8th. The initiative brought together various activities aimed at welcoming, valuing and strengthening the self-esteem of the female public.

Throughout the day, participants had access to a range of free services, such as massage, eyebrow shaping, waxing, hair braiding, and the distribution of gifts. The activities were designed to provide moments of self-care, well-being, and connection. Participants also had the opportunity to experience a jongo dance class, focusing on the importance of preserving cultural traditions.

Open to the public, the event brought together regular attendees of the space and residents of the region, who participated in activities throughout the day. The Youth Center is a facility of the Rio de Janeiro Youth Secretariat (JUVRio) aimed at expanding opportunities for young people in the city. The space offers free courses, workshops, cultural activities, and career guidance, functioning as an environment for training, inclusion, and development that encourages youth leadership. The Youth Center Center is located at Rua Camerino, 28A, in Gamboa.
