With the aim of making adjustments to traffic in Gávea, CET-Rio will close access to Rua Graça Couto for those exiting the Zuzu Angel Tunnel starting at 11:30 pm on Sunday (January 4th). This change is an extension of the roadworks already being implemented in the neighborhood, such as on Rua Marquês de São Vicente, which recently received a series of improvements to its infrastructure and signage to optimize traffic flow.
This new phase is important for organizing local traffic. By integrating the closure of Graça Couto with the improvements already made on Marquês de São Vicente, CET-Rio ensures that the neighborhood's road network can support the new traffic dynamics and development of the area in an orderly and efficient manner.
