Comlurb presented 13 new large-scale street sweepers on Estrada do Tingui, in Campo Grande. The vehicles will serve all regions of the city, assisting with street sweeping and cleaning expressways, viaducts, and tunnels.

Each street sweeper has the sweeping capacity equivalent to the work of 30 sanitation workers. In an eight-hour shift, the vehicles can sweep up to 40 kilometers of streets.

The president of Comlurb, Jorge Arraes, participated in the delivery and spoke about the importance of the new vehicles for the city's street sweeping service:

– The new street sweepers will be very important to further improve the street sweeping service throughout the city. Furthermore, this model, unlike the previous one, has the functionality to assist in the cleaning of drains, therefore it will contribute to the cleaning of the city's micro-drainage system, especially during rainy seasons – said Arraes.
