Comlurb brings the "Carioca Corridors" Program to Terreirão.

On Tuesday morning (December 9th), Comlurb promoted the "Carioca Corridors" program on Avenida Gilka Machado, in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, in the Terreirão area. This program reinforces the Company's services in a specific area of the city, ensuring extra special treatment for the location. The avenue received sweeping, weeding, pruning, waste removal, grass cutting, and hydraulic washing of the road with reused water.
Services will be expanded to other areas of Terreirão in the coming days. The company has also begun installing 124 high-capacity (1200L) containers on site, which will be distributed throughout the area.
Pedro Chagas, a resident of the community for 22 years, approved of the work being done there:
– Comlurb is giving this community a complete overhaul. I hope they continue and that people become more aware. Let's keep everything clean.
Teams from the Subprefecture of Barra, Recreio, Vargens and Camorim and the Municipal Secretariat of Governmental Coordination closely monitored the actions, along with the director of Urban Cleaning at Comlurb, Alexandre Campos.
