What will the traffic be like around Maracanã for the Fluminense game on Tuesday?

A traffic operation will be carried out this Tuesday (22/10), for the Brazilian Championship game between Fluminense and Athletico-PR, at 19:30 pm, at Maracanã Stadium, in the North Zone. From 17:30 pm, there will be traffic bans in the stadium area. And, in addition to the regulated areas where parking is prohibited, other roads will be restricted to parking from 10 am on Tuesday.

CET-Rio will have 50 traffic agents and support staff, 5 operational vehicles and 8 motorcycles to direct traffic. Traffic information will also be reinforced on 13 variable message panels that will show the times of closures and alternative routes.

CET-Rio technicians, at the Rio Operations Center (COR), will monitor all traffic movement using cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light schedule with the aim of ensuring good road conditions.

-For the Greater Méier region: Use Visconde de Niterói Street.
