The Municipal Department of Labor and Income (SMTE) is offering one thousand places on a preparatory course for the National Exam for Certification of Skills for Young People and Adults (Encceja) 2025. The course, with a workload of 48 hours, is free. Registration can be done at the link

To participate, you just need to have registered with INEP to take the Encceja exam, which will be held on August 3rd. The first class of the preparatory course will begin next Monday, May 26th. Those interested can register for classes in ten different locations in the city, in the morning, afternoon or evening. Classes will be held in Centro, Tijuca, Jacarepaguá, Ilha do Governador, Madureira, Higienópolis, Realengo, Bangu, Santa Cruz and Campo Grande.
– At the time of registration, the candidate will choose the neighborhood and the time he/she wants to take the course. It is a great opportunity to review all the content from high school and arrive at the INEP exam well prepared to obtain the certification he/she has dreamed of -, explains Charbel Zaib, undersecretary of Labor and Qualifications at SMTE.
During the course, students will take two mock exams with questions related to the 14 subjects on the high school curriculum. The idea is for them to prepare themselves to perform well on the Encceja exam in August.
