The Engenheiro Freyssinet (over Avenida Paulo de Frontin) and Rufino Pizarro elevated roads will be closed for maintenance work, in the direction of the South Zone, from 11:50 pm this Friday (March 27th) to 5 am on Saturday (March 28th).
As an alternative route, drivers should take Avenida Paulo de Frontin and then go through the Rebouças Tunnel.
Guidance for drivers
Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers. CET-Rio operators will be monitoring traffic conditions and will intervene if necessary. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve fluidity on the detour route and on the main corridors in the region.
