There are vacancies for telemarketing professionals at the virtual fair -Disclosure Amid restrictions imposed by health authorities due to the pandemic, the City Hall announced the first edition of Emprega Rio Digital: a completely virtual job fair that will offer more than 600 job openings, with remote interviews and immediate hiring. The initiative by the Municipal Department of Labor and Income (SMTE) has a partnership with the company Bee Jobs, which will provide software and use artificial intelligence to connect, with greater speed and precision, the profiles of candidates to the vacancies available at the fair.
Emprega Rio Digital will provide opportunities for various positions and levels of education. There are vacancies for cashiers, telemarketers, store inspectors, credit analysts, sales representatives, administrative assistants and other segments. The selection is based on resumes that are already being received by the secretariat via email at vagas.smte@gmail.com.
The interviews will be virtual via the Zoom app between April 13 and 28. During this period, the companies will respond to all candidates who applied for the virtual fair. The names of the successful candidates will be announced on the SMTE website and social media. This type of fair is the first of its kind in Rio de Janeiro City Hall.
The department's secretary, Jorge Felippe Neto, highlights the pioneering nature of the action:
– This fair is a response to the pandemic. We adapted people’s needs to the new reality of social distancing – he said.
