Technical tests stir up Sapucaí after two years of silence

On Saturday night (12/03), three Schools from the Série Ouro, formerly Grupo de Acesso, rehearsed on the track that was renovated by the City of Rio with a series of interventions worth around R$26 million: resurfacing and special painting, a new rainwater drainage system to prevent puddles from hindering the schools' progress, adaptation of the entire electrical system and a new fire prevention system – meeting the demands of the Fire Department to provide greater safety for visitors –, renovation of the area around Avenida Marquês de Sapucaí and unprecedented stage lighting, among other improvements that will be noticed by the public and members of the groups that will parade in April.

In Cima da Hora, Império Serrano and Lins Imperial rehearsed and received applause from the audience that was in the stands on Saturday night.
This Sunday it is the turn of the rehearsal of three Samba Schools from the Special Group, starting at 20:30 pm: Imperatriz Leopoldinense, São Clemente and Portela.
Public access to the stands is free, and proof of up-to-date vaccination is mandatory.
