After the parades of the samba schools of the Federation of Blocks, Evaluation Group and Bronze Series, this Friday (29/4) it was the turn of the first part of the Silver Series associations to entertain the revelers present at Estrada Intendente Magalhães. Not even the rain kept the public away, who, once again, showed up in good numbers to watch the most diverse themes of the schools seeking a spot, in 2023, in the competitive parade at the Sambadrome.

This year, the Silver Series had 11 schools this Friday and will have another 14 this Saturday (30/4). There are two spots at stake in the Gold Series at Marquês de Sapucaí, with one winner on each of the two days of the parade. The Gold Series is the last step to reach the dreamed spot in the Special Group.

– The school has been fighting for years to parade at the Sambadrome, so this year we will come with everything to get there, and next year we will be there. Being able to parade at Marquês de Sapucaí will be a dream come true, the Carnival of my life – said the dancer from Sereno de Campo Grande, Giulia Paschoal, 15 years old, minutes before starting her first parade for the school at Intendente Magalhães.

In addition to Sereno from Campo Grande, the following schools paraded this Friday: Arame de Ricardo, Independent from Praça da Bandeira, Raça Rubro-Negra, Arranco, Independent from Olaria, Renascer from Jacarepaguá, Império da Uva, Academics of Diversity, Difficult is the Name and Botafogo Samba Clube.
