Registration is open for free professional qualification courses for women in the areas of technology, beauty, gastronomy, languages, entrepreneurship, and care. There are more than 8 places available for those who wish to improve their skills, start a business, achieve financial independence, or enter the job market. The courses will be offered at the Casas da Mulher Carioca, Salas da Mulher Cidadã, and Casas da Mulher Cidadã, located in different regions of the city.

There is a wide variety of training available: Administrative Assistant, Computer Skills, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, English, Spanish, Sign Language, Childcare Assistant, Elderly Caregiver, Digital Marketing, Photography and Video, Event Production, Sewing, Crochet, Baking, Pastry Making, Makeup, Manicure and Pedicure, Eyebrow Design, Braiding, Facial Aesthetics, Massage Therapy, and Entrepreneurship, among other options. This initiative is part of the public policies developed by the Special Secretariat for Policies for Women and Care, which has already trained more than 550 women since 2021.
