Jaé gains a button to report irregular charges in parking spaces of the Rio Rotativo Digital system.

The Jaé app has gained an exclusive button for reporting irregular charges in Rio Rotativo Digital parking spaces. Already available on the platform, the new tool allows drivers to directly report to the City Hall attempts by third parties to charge for the use of parking spaces.

The new feature reinforces one of the main guidelines of the Rio Rotativo Digital system: payment for parking spaces must be made exclusively through the Jaé app, without any charges or payments to third parties. The new feature expands the channels available for users to report irregularities in areas covered by the system.

Based on the information provided by drivers, the City Hall will be able to direct enforcement actions to curb these practices, both by informal parking attendants and by registered parking attendants operating irregularly.

Jaé has also received other improvements. The parking spaces for the Rio Rotativo Digital system are now marked directly on the app's map, allowing drivers to more easily identify locations where digital parking is available.

Over 122 validations

Initially implemented on July 17th, the Rio Rotativo Digital parking system continues to expand and already includes approximately 4 parking spaces in Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, Leme, Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, São Conrado, Barra da Tijuca, and Tijuca. In total, 235 parking attendants are registered and authorized to operate the system.

Since its launch, the system has already recorded over 122 validations of two-hour parking periods. The model will be gradually expanded to other areas of the city.
