JUVRio opens 250 places for a free writing course and professional development workshops.

The Municipal Secretariat for Youth of Rio de Janeiro (JUVRio), through the Casa da Juventude Centro (Youth Center), is offering 250 free places for young people aged 15 to 29 who wish to improve their knowledge and develop skills geared towards education and the job market. In total, there are 100 places for a writing course and 150 places for professional workshops in the areas of beauty and aesthetics.

The writing course will be held on Fridays, between August 7th and 28th, with classes from 2 PM to 5 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM. The training aims to strengthen the writing and text production skills of the participants. Registration will close next Friday (August 7th).

The workshops will take place between August 17th and 20th, from 9 am to 12 pm, and will offer practical training in the areas of barbering, makeup, nail design, eyebrow design, and hair removal, covering specific techniques for each profession.

The activities will take place at the Youth Center, located at Rua Camerino, 28A, Gamboa, and aim to expand opportunities for professional training, contributing to the insertion of young people into the job market and to income generation.
