The opportunities are aimed at young people aged 15 to 29 who live in the city - Laryssa Lomenha / JUVRio The Municipal Secretariat for Youth in Rio de Janeiro (JUVRio) has opened registration for 3.500 places in free courses offered by the Youth Spaces. Registration is open from August 13th to September 8th. The opportunities are aimed at young people aged 15 to 29 who live in the city of Rio de Janeiro, with activities scheduled for the month of September.
In this edition, 17 courses will be offered, distributed among the seven Youth Spaces. The program includes Drone Operator, English Without Borders, Game Design, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Intermediate Computing, Public Speaking and Presentation Development, Business Computing, Video Editing, and Videomaking. New additions include the return of the Logistics 4.0 and Intelligent Supply Chains course.
Logistics Lessons
In the Logistics 4.0 and Intelligent Supply Chains course, students will learn the fundamentals of logistics and the functioning of supply chains, understanding how products, information, and resources reach the consumer. They will also learn about Logistics 4.0 concepts and technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, sensors, digital systems, and data analysis, as well as notions of planning, storage, transportation, distribution, and tracking. Throughout the course, they will be encouraged to identify problems and waste, analyze practical situations, and propose solutions to make logistics processes more efficient, innovative, and sustainable.
Registrations
Registrations must be made through Carioca Opportunities platform, from the Rio de Janeiro City Hall.To participate, you must select the course you are interested in and fill out the registration form.
Classes will be held at the Youth Spaces units in the neighborhoods of Estácio, Cidade de Deus, Madureira, Vigário Geral, Jacarezinho, Vargem Pequena, and Campo Grande.
All courses provide free learning materials and offer a certificate of completion. Since the inauguration of the Youth Spaces in 2022, the initiative has already trained 58.213 young people.
The Youth Spaces are training centers focused on new technologies and professions of the future. Distributed throughout the city, these facilities aim to expand access for young people in Rio de Janeiro to professional training and income-generating opportunities, contributing to preparing students for the demands of the job market.
In addition to free training, the spaces offer welcoming, air-conditioned, and inclusive environments for carrying out the activities.
