JUVRio opens registration for 3,5 free places in technology, innovation and professional qualification courses.

The Municipal Secretariat for Youth in Rio de Janeiro (JUVRio) is accepting applications until August 10th for 3.500 places in free courses offered by the Youth Spaces. The opportunities are aimed at young people aged 15 to 29 residing in the city of Rio de Janeiro, who will participate in activities throughout the month of August.

In this edition, 13 courses will be offered, distributed among the seven Youth Spaces: English Without Borders, Advanced English, Public Speaking and Presentation Development, Intermediate Computing, Computing for Business, Robotics, Financial Management, Sound Industry – DJ, Graphic Design and Creativity for the Digital World, Intermediate Graphic Design and Creativity for the Digital World, Video Editing, 3D Printing, and Programming Logic and Algorithms.

Applications must be submitted through the Oportunidades Cariocas platform, run by the Rio de Janeiro City Hall, available at [website address]. https://pref.rio/servicos/cursosSimply select your desired course and fill out the registration form. Classes will be held at the Youth Spaces located in the neighborhoods of Estácio, Cidade de Deus, Madureira, Vigário Geral, Jacarezinho, Vargem Pequena, and Campo Grande.

All courses offer free learning materials and a certificate of completion. Since the inauguration of the Youth Spaces in 2022, the initiative has already trained 56.823 young people.

The Youth Spaces are training centers focused on new technologies and professions of the future. Located in strategic points of the city, their objective is to expand opportunities for professional qualification and income generation for young people in Rio de Janeiro, preparing students for the demands of the job market. In addition to free training, the facilities offer a welcoming, air-conditioned, and inclusive environment.
