The Rio de Janeiro Municipal Youth Secretariat (JUVRio) was present on May 29th at Rio2C, held at Cidade das Artes in Barra da Tijuca, with over 200 young people enrolled in technology, creativity, and innovation courses offered by the Youth Spaces, such as Drones, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Videomaking, and Social Media. The event annually brings together a series of opportunities to connect with content creators, cutting-edge companies, and innovations from diverse areas of culture, marketing, entertainment, and creativity.

The initiative was provided free of charge through the JUVRio Opportunities Club, which has already benefited 9.821 young people from the Secretariat's courses with extracurricular activities, such as workshops, participation in events and guided tours, since 2025.

Daniel da Silva Fernandes, 21, studies at the Jacarezinho Youth Center and attended the event for the first time, alternating between the panels and available activities.

– I felt I had many opportunities to network. I'm a photographer and I was able to connect with a German company that was promoting a workshop during the event, for example. I found the experience very interesting and it provided me with learnings that I will use in my career – said the young resident of Anchieta, who has already studied photography, graphic design and Artificial Intelligence.

The Youth Spaces program trains approximately 3.500 young people every month for the professions of the future. Since the project began in 2022, more than 53 young people have been certified in areas related to the themes addressed at Rio2C, such as Artificial Intelligence, Social Media, Business Computing, 3D Printing, Photography, Videomaking, Graphic Design, Robotics, and much more.
