The city government joins the National Network for the Promotion of Private Integrity, promoted by the CGU (Brazilian Federal Comptroller General).

The Municipal Secretariat for Integrity and Transparency of Rio de Janeiro celebrated its membership in the National Network for the Promotion of Private Integrity (REDE) during the 2026 Corporate Integrity Day, organized by the Comptroller General of the Union, in Brasília.

Already a member of the Brazil Pact and the National Network for Public Integrity, Rio is now expanding its governance efforts to the private sector, joining the federal effort through technical cooperation and the sharing of best practices.

The initiative seeks to enhance legal certainty, standardize the application of the Anti-Corruption Law and the new Bidding Law, improve the evaluation of integrity programs, and avoid duplication of processes, contributing to the consolidation of an ethical and transparent environment in relations between the public sector and companies.
