City Hall announces new traffic closures for Transbrasil works

The City of Rio, through CET-Rio, informs about the NEW closures that will occur to make the TRANSBRASIL works viable. The extended interventions and the old ones, which are still in progress, will also be presented.
The operations will involve the participation of traffic operators, including CET-Rio agents, the Municipal Guard and outsourced workers, who will work to maintain fluidity, guide drivers and set up roadblocks during the interventions. In addition, specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers.
NEW PROHIBITIONS
WITH GREATER ROAD IMPACT OR CONTINUOUS
| 1. WALKWAY HEIGHT 13, RAMOS | Start: Friday (21/08) |

Between 22:21 p.m. on Friday (08/23) and 23:08 p.m. on Sunday (2/1), the operation to build the drainage network on Av. Brasil, near Ramos, will continue. The work aims to eliminate flooding points in the region. To make the procedure viable, it will be necessary to close 13 lanes of the Central lane (right side) and XNUMX lane of the Lateral lane (left side) of Av. Brasil, towards the Center, at the height of walkway XNUMX.

DEVIATIONS
Vehicles will be diverted on the lane itself, in the narrow section.
| 2. CATWALK HEIGHT 21, LUCAS STOP | Start: Saturday 22/08 |
| Expected completion: 08/09 |
Starting at 8 am on Saturday (22/08) the operation to build the drainage network on Av. Brasil, near Parada de Lucas, will continue. The work aims to eliminate flooding points in the region. To make the procedure viable, it will be necessary to close 1 lane of the Side road (left side) of Av. Brasil, sense Deodoro, height of Passarela 21. The right lane, which is currently closed, will be opened.

DETOUR
Vehicles will be diverted to the right lane, in the narrow section.
| 3. BRIGADEIRO TROMPOWSKI AVENUE | Start: Saturday 22/08 |
| Expected completion: 15/09 |
Starting at 8 am on Saturday (22/08) the operation to build the drainage network near Ramos will continue. The work aims to eliminate flooding points in the region. To make the procedure viable, it will be necessary to close 1 lane (left side) of Av. Brigadeiro Trompowski, towards Ilha do Governador.

DETOUR
To ensure that vehicles can divert to the right lane, parking will be prohibited along the entire length of the roadworks.
EXPLANATORY PAMPHLETS
Explanatory pamphlets were distributed in the region to inform and guide the population about the work and the prohibition of parking on the road, as illustrated below.

Starting at 8 am on Saturday (22/08) the operation to build the drainage network on Av. Brasil, near Parada de Lucas, will continue. The work aims to eliminate flooding points in the region. To make the procedure viable, it will be necessary to close 1 lane of the Side road (right side) of Av. Brasil, direction Center, height of Walkway 20.

DETOUR
Vehicles will be diverted to the right lane, in the narrow section.
| 5. WALKWAY HEIGHT 27, COELHO NETO | Start: Saturday 22/08 |
| Expected completion: 23/08 |
Between 22pm on Saturday (22/08) and 16pm on Sunday (23/08) the sanitation network will be surveyed on Av. Brasil, at the height of Coelho Neto. To make the procedure viable, it will be necessary to close the loop that connects Av. Brasil, towards Deodoro, at the height of Passarela 27, and Av. Pastor Martin Luther King Júnior. Access to residents will be maintained.

DETOUR
Vehicles must follow Av. Brasil to Rua Pedro Jório, access Rua Vitor Frond and follow Av. Pastor Martin Luther King Júnior to Colégio to make the return and continue towards Pavuna.
NEW PROHIBITIONS
WITH LESS ROAD IMPACT
The interventions will take place in the direction of the road with less traffic or at night. Therefore, no impact on traffic is expected. The diversions will be carried out on the track itself, in the narrow section.
