Transition Office holds first strategic planning workshop 2025-2028 - Fabio Motta/ Rio City Hall The Rio de Janeiro City Hall Transition Office held its first Planning Workshop on Wednesday (4/12) at the School of Mathematics (IMPA Tech), in Porto Maravalley, in the Porto Maravilha region, in the Port Zone. The meeting had the format of a think tank focusing on one of the axes of the 2025-2028 strategic planning: Fiscal Balance, Good Management and Governance.
At the meeting, participants discussed the use of digital services by the City Hall and highlighted management tools that can be used to improve the provision of services to the population, enhance relationships with citizens and strengthen platforms for accountability and public transparency. At the end of the meeting, 49 proposals were analyzed.
During the event, each participant presented projects related to technology and innovation, such as the use of Artificial Intelligence and the City Hall's more than 40 WhatsApp services. After the presentations, the group reflected on ways to create viable public policies and projects that improve the lives of citizens, focusing on solutions that can be implemented effectively and sustainably.
The Transition Cabinet
The work of the Transition Office of the new municipal government began on Monday (2/12) and will continue until the end of December. The main objective is to define the goals and guidelines that will be part of the strategic plan for the mandate of Mayor Eduardo Paes and Vice Mayor-elect Eduardo Cavaliere, who will take office on January 1.
The new government's planning focuses on the efficiency of municipal management and is composed of five thematic axes: Fiscal Balance, Good Management and Governance; Civility and Security; Future, Economy and Happiness; Longevity, Equity and Humanities; Infrastructure, Disaster Prevention and Resilience.
