CET-Rio will implement a traffic operation for the "Circuito dos Elementos Etapa Água" event, which will take place this Sunday (July 26th) in the neighborhoods of Centro, Saúde, and Gamboa. To facilitate the event, there will be road closures and parking restrictions in the area.

The operation will involve agents from CET-Rio (Rio de Janeiro's traffic management company), the Municipal Guard, and traffic support personnel working to guide drivers and pedestrians, in addition to monitoring carried out by technicians at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio), who will monitor traffic conditions and, if necessary, make adjustments to the traffic light programming to maintain traffic flow.

Drivers should pay attention to the signage in the area and, whenever possible, choose alternative routes during the road closures. Pedestrians should only cross at designated crossing points.

Prohibitions

From 1am to 11am on Sunday (July 26th):

• Mauá Square, in the section between Sacadura Cabral Street and Rio Branco Avenue with Acre Street;
• Rio 450 Tunnel, Alcântara Machado Street and Mairink Veiga Street, along its entire length;
• Edgard Gordilho Street, in the section between Coelho e Castro Street and Rodrigues Alves Avenue, and in the section between Venezuela Avenue and Rodrigues Alves Avenue;
• Avenida Venezuela, in the section between Avenida Barão de Tefé and Praça Mauá;
• Barão de Tefé Avenue, in the section between Venezuela Avenue and Rodrigues Alves Avenue (Mayor Luiz Paulo Conde Waterfront Boardwalk);
• Mayor Luiz Paulo Conde Waterfront, in the section between the Museum of Tomorrow and Rivadávia Correa Street;
• Rua Arlindo Rodrigues (Via Binário do Porto), on the lane heading towards the Novo Rio Bus Station, in the section between the exit of the Rio 450 Tunnel and Rua Rivadávia Correa;
• Avenida Rio Branco, in the right lane, in the section between Rua Mairink Veiga and Praça Mauá;
• Avenida Marechal Floriano, on the even-numbered side of the road, in the section between Avenida Rio Branco and Rua Visconde de Inhaúma;
• Rua Visconde de Inhaúma, on the even-numbered side of the road, in the section between Avenida Rio Branco and Avenida Marechal Floriano;
• Tia Ciata Street, in the section between Coelho e Castro Street and Venezuela Avenue;
• Rua Souza e Silva, in the section between Avenida Venezuela and Avenida Rodrigues Alves;
• Acre Street, in the section between Marechal Floriano Avenue and Rio Branco Avenue;
• Uruguaiana Street, in the section between Rio Branco Avenue and Marechal Floriano Avenue.

Parking ban

From 8 PM on Saturday (July 25th) until 12 PM on Sunday (July 26th):

• Alcântara Machado Street and Mairink Veiga Street, along their entire length;
• Barão de Tefé Avenue, in the section between Venezuela Avenue and Rodrigues Alves Avenue (Mayor Luiz Paulo Conde Waterfront Boardwalk);
• Mayor Luiz Paulo Conde Waterfront, in the section between the Museum of Tomorrow and Rivadávia Correa Street;
• Edgard Gordilho Street, in the section between Venezuela Avenue and Rodrigues Alves Avenue;
