Secretariat meeting analyzes goals for the 2025/2028 administration

The meeting was held at the ExpoRio convention center, in Cidade Nova - Beth Santos / Rio City Hall Rio Mayor Eduardo Paes met with his cabinet for the third time this year to monitor the goals of the 2025/2028 administration. The meeting held this Sunday (14/09), at the ExpoRio convention center in Cidade Nova, analyzed the work carried out by all the bodies of the municipal administrative structure.
"This meeting is part of our management practice. In all my administrations, we've always set very clear goals for every department. And what we do is choose a Sunday, a day when we have less pressure, and we sit down and look at each goal, each challenge, so we can bring about the improvements the population deserves. So, it's about command and management," stated the mayor of Rio.
Rio's Deputy Mayor, Eduardo Cavaliere, presented the monitoring of the initiatives, which are included in the 2025/2028 Strategic Plan. In total, there are 88 goals and 134 projects, divided into 30 initiatives.
All are distributed across five thematic axes:
- Civility and Security: urban planning, traffic and public safety;
- Infrastructure, Disaster Prevention and Resilience: mobility, housing, green areas, public space and climate;
- Longevity, Equity and Humanity: health, education, diversity, social protection and sports;
- Future, Economy and Happiness: innovation, culture, tourism, employment and economic development;
- Fiscal Balance, Good Management and Governance: digitalization, transparency, concessions and public-private partnerships.
